Do you know me or know what I've driven? You are right that I haven't driven your Denali, but I have a good amount of experience behind the wheel of many different performance vehicles; I was a professional driver for one of the largest automobile manufacturers in the world where I logged hundreds, if not thousands of track hours annually during the few years I worked there. Please don't be so presumptuous in regard to who I am or what I've done.
Your comment about the lifted truck may be true. I have replaced the suspension in the front not just "lifted" and have driven both quite a bit off road have you??? Did not think so but my Raptor was not stock except for the first week so I do not really know how it would perform off road. In the stock configuration it would have gotten torn up because of ground clearance issues where I have to drive so it was modified and quite nicely I might add.
Can you please elaborate on what was done to the suspension of your Denali that made it capable of running alongside a Raptor? You originally said that you had a BDS lift and coilovers, so that is what I was basing my response on. I looked at the kit on the BDS website and it looks like a solid drop-bracket style lift, but it alone would only qualify the truck as a "lifted" truck, nothing more. My previous truck was a 2007 FX4 F-150 with a Fabtech 6" lift, King 2.5 coilovers w/ remote reservoir, JD Fab heim steering, and Camburg upper control arms. I'd say my F-150 was setup pretty similarly to your Denali, maybe slightly better, but it was still just a lifted truck and it wouldn't come close to running with even a stock Raptor if any significant speed was involved. Now if your Denali had upgraded upper and lower control arms, upgraded steering, etc. then that's another story. If you have any photos of this truck, I'd like to see them.
I'm also curious to know what exactly you've done to your Raptor to increase its ground clearance.
