Is there a difference between Tux black and Black?

My window sticker said just black. I noticed on the build numbers sheet there was black and also tux black listed.

Tuxedo black is the original color offered by Ford. During the tsunami in Japan a few years ago, tuxedo black was on constraint because it came from Japan. Ford had to use a regular, non metallic black to substitute for tuxedo, hence why you, and others have regular black.

No way, really? I would have never thought that a natural disaster would change paint options for a truck, but I suppose its possible. That was quite devastating to the entire planet, and I suppose Raptor paint options as well.

I like the deeper black more, it really shines and looks great when I wash/claybar/wax it. The tux black is the one with the sparkles? Outlaw painted my front fenders, and the color is a tad big more grey and has sparkles. Maybe they didnt know about the regular black?

That would be my guess Kawie.. It was a rather short run of Raptors that got the black and it's not a normal Raptor production color so that's an honest mistake that would be made by most imo.

I have to agree that it is rather ridiculous that they still have not released the official build numbers. They have been making the '13s for a LONG time now and I want to know the numbers!!! lol, yes, I am a bit impatient at times.
