Raptor Owners Awaiting the C8 Arrival

Yes! Have a modded C7Z now and am waiting to see the C8Z. Mostly waiting to see if they decide to go with AWD then, because my only issue now is traction. Definitely excited to the release though.

For now I have run out of stuff to do with the vette so it’s helping to prioritize the Raptor. Lol

It will be interesting to know how the car does in the used car market. Undoubtedly out of the gate dealers are going to be MSRP+, but after 1 year or so when they appear on the used market, it will be interesting to see how it does.

Any Raptor owners with corvettes (past or present) in their blood, going to watch the big C8 reveal?

I’ll definitely be watching! Been waiting for it since the mid engine rumor was confirmed. I have a 14 c7 that’s paid off that I will sell depending on c8 price and specs. If I don’t get the c8 I will either mod out my c7 with intake, headers, exhaust, cam, heads and tune or if my fiancé gets her way the c7 will be gone and get a Mercedes c63 amg lol

As a car guy I will be tuning in. Bargain hunting C7 buyers will find some killer deals towards the end of the year.

The “early adopters” C8 buyers should brace themselves for recalls. The first and second year cars will be full of GM bugs/recalls that will need to be sorted out. It’s almost like being a Beta tester. No matter how bad I lusted after one I would not purchase the first/second year of any GM product, especially an all new mid engine Corvette.
