I recall they said it was 40 or 42K, which I thought was good for the 6.2 L. I was thinking they were confusing the price for the 5.4 L.

Good segment overall and they deff. showed the Raptor in a positive light (even if it was a Hennessey). But for Tanner to talk about a plush ride and being able to run over anything, then say it's horrible on road...? Someone needs to tell him that not everything can pull 1g on a skid pad, it's a truck, get over it. I wonder if he was even there when the Stig took it around the track.........sure, it was pushing 600hp but the suspension was still stock and that made the way it handled even more impressive.

You hit the nail right on the head. That's the one thing that really bugged me- of course it's not going to be like a Viper on the road. Makes me wonder just how savvy Tanner actually is.

Yeah kind of crazy. I have more mod'd and less money in to my truck and can still keep up with that truck.

yea, i cant see justifying 3K for badge work...baffles me. i am also curious to see how they did the CAI...i swear i do not like anything but the stock housing to prevent much dirt from intruding....my engine was caked with dirt on my last outing...and the stock housing did a fantastic job preventing much dirt and water from entering...the K&N drop in did a good job as well.

here is the link to the actual show if anybody hasnt seen it yet, took some time trying to find it, but i did...

Finally saw the episode last night. They did the truck justice, but they could have thrown out that hennessey name a bit less. And DAMN that SLS is sexy.

I really wish they would have run it stock. I don't think the Hennessey upgrade did anything for what they were doing and gives the impression that you need to upgrade the truck in order for it perform impressively. I loved the segment and do enjoy the show, don't get me wrong.
