what I don't get is if your not a serious off roader why would you need the shocks that will go throw the whoops like a TT? the stalkers are good for jumps and rough terrain. If you have the money just buy them both or when the stockers break get the upgraded ones. If I had the money I would get some I like the idea of the icons but would probably set it and forget it so fox and it's done. I would definitely need a ride before I went one or the other.

I'm not a serious racecar driver but i still love putting racecar parts on my car and driving around like a madman. People like to push the limits of what they can do, and everyone likes saying they have the best they can get otherwise we'd all have ford rangers like 6.2 lol. I wan't to be able to push it without having to upgrade in the future.

Why the ICON's over the fox 3.0 that rpg valves? I don't know much about the differences in suspension setups for the raptor, know the basics but what sells you on the ICONs over the rpg?

I'm actually on the fence about it. But, I've just heard a lot of good things about the Icons and haven't heard hardly anything about Fox. If no one is posting about them, I assume no one is running them, and there must be a reason for that...

Good and bad news is, I probably won't have to worry about it unless I win the lottery.

Icon is new to the form so exploded with new talk. RPG has a lot on the sight you gust have to look.

I've heard a ton of good things about both honestly, but i've heard much less in the way of positives on the regular fox 3.0's, I also know there are alot of people that have switched to icons from other shocks and they are super stoked about it. It's a big decision though.

Who switched RLTW? These people need to put all this drama crap aside and write some honest reviews.

We couldn't be happier with our Fox's, but lately there appears to be a personal vendetta and people out there ready to attack you as a Fanboy if you say such things. Honestly, I have vendors that I love and others that I refuse to buy off of again/at all. One of the major factors for me is that they are good people that are willing to stand behind their products. The ones I like the best are those that I can write a pm saying, hey this is wrong and they jump right on it to make it right. Also the ones that I can call out on their shit if there is any... because that's what wifey does.

This negative attitude has been fairly recent and I won't even begin to speculate on the causes. And please no one bring your negative junk into this thread, because I refuse to be a part of it! Best anyone can do is stay out of the high-school drama, call the vendors directly and decide for themselves.

No... we are just tired of being called fan boys, lol...

Not to many people are going to say or admit that they spent $4K on shocks and not like them.

I love mine, but haven't tried others, so what I have to say is all opinion.

some facts that people may over look.
1) the Fox shocks require to be rebuilt. When you buy RPG, they will rebuild them for you. BUT, you got to get them the shocks, and unless you keep your stockers, your out your truck while they are in shipping and building.

2) to get the max benefits from the set up, you need to spend time in the dirt. You need to drive the same terrain over and over and tune the shocks. Keep a journal, on road driving or hauling will require different settings.

3) you have to post how much you love you shocks after you get them installed, hahaha.
