Gotcha. wasn't quite sure what you meant.

Be interesting to see the actual 1/4 mile times. I'm not a drag racer. Will the big torque # help the truck get off the line faster?
14.0 is awesome and I do think it'll be accurate. It matches what ADD is saying about a stock '17 being quicker than their supercharged 1st Gen that has a bit of extra weight from accessories.

The crazy thing is that is not far off what the SVT Lightning ran stock. They would turn high 13's, low 14's depending on the track. Now you will probably be able to do that with all offroad capability, hauling people in comfort on 35" tires and get better mileage. With a tune you'll probably be able to push one into the 12's, quicker than a 5.0 Mustang.

I spoke with a salesman that personally owns a Gen 1 and had an opportunity to drive a Gen 2 at a Ken Block event and he said it makes his Gen 1 feel like a 4-cylinder in comparison. The new engine is sweet, but a lot of the credit goes to the 10-speed automatic. Guess we will find out for sure soon enough...

Just the 30 years I've been in the business and watched how technology has improved every aspect of the vehicle is amazing. The power we're seeing out of the vehicles now AND the fuel mileage are both huge improvements. Hell my 97' Cobra only has 305 hp and that was BIG hp in the day. Now we've got a V6 in a Raptor that will have 1 1/2 X's the hp

Yesterday I finalized our last allocation order for a Raptor. That customer has a 14' I sold him. He wanted to drive an ecoboost 3.5 to see how it ran. I put him in a 16' CC 150 4X4. When he came back he said he thought THAT truck was quicker than his Raptor. He said he can't imagine what that new motor will run like.

A standard F-150 with the 3.5 EcoBoost is significantly faster than the Gen 1 Raptor. The Fast Lane truck tested that on their Youtube channel.

Does anyone know if the length of a Raptor SCREW is identical to a standard F-150 SCREW with the short bed? I test drove an F-150 in that config to ensure it would fit in my garage (which it did, but just barely).

Also, how much higher does the Raptor sit than a normal 4x4 F-150?

Thanks!

Yes the length of the raptor screw is the same length of a regular f150 screw. I took one home and unfortunately it did not fit in my garage. So now I'm looking at an additional 3-4 grand to extend my garage.
As far as the height difference I'm unsure.

2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor SuperCab: 0-60 mph 6.6 | Quarter mile 15.1
2016 Ford F-150 Lariat Crew Cab 3.5L EcoBoost 4x4: 0-60 mph 5.8 | Quarter mile 14.6

Those numbers are from the zeroto60times website which always seems to be pretty accurate. I wonder how the Gen 2 will stack up with that beast of an engine and 10-speed? Not that the Raptor is meant to be a drag racer...haha.

Car and Driver did this test of the standard 2017 F-150 and estimates a 5.3-5.7 second 0-60 time for that truck.
