Called SVT today and just asked them what they thought about the lean. The guy just totally acted oblivious to there ever being any problem with the raptors leaning. I told them well it happens enough to actually have a name....lol. He just told me to have dealer check it out.

Of course they are oblivious, you are the only one who thinks a "Raptor Lean" is a problem.

A true "Raptor Lean" as it is mentioned on this site is not going to hurt your truck, it just means that when the gas tank is full the truck droops slightly on the drivers side.

If this is not what you have then by all means get it checked out with the dealership. But please stop calling it "Raptor Lean" and including us in your complaint with Ford. I don't want to see another damn frame gate over something so trivial.

If you do have "raptor lean" and its bothering your OCD then follow the instructions above to fix it. But stop yelling at ford to fix something that is just a normal Raptor thing.

For one I didn't call up SVT or Ford yelling or name dropping.....I asked a question!!!!! I'm also not the only one that has a question about it or issues about it. OCD? You might want to look up the definition of that..... maybe I pay more attention to detail than others.... which in working as a aircraft mechanic for 15+years you kinda pick up. I'm not on here to argue or to be belittled. I called it a raptor lean cause thats what others have called it. If they aren't going to fix it fine I will but I figured I'd inquire about the the truck setting unevenly. Figured with thier flagship F150 they would want it to sit straight but idk maybe I'm just ****....

Oh and just to give a update the dealer called said the bed was crooked and they are getting with the ford rep to decide on repair....I'll keep the forum updated on the fix they decide to perform.

See now, it wasn't "Raptor Lean" after all. Glad the dealership is fixing the problem.

Any update on the Ford Rep and your dealers solution to this? My 2013 Ingot Screw (all stock, no offroading) has a crooked bed as well. Everyone at work says, "hey, your $50k truck is LEANING". Kind of annoying and would like to use your solution to help me with my issue.

Guess I got this to look forward too. Everyone is talking about the full tank but the OP has said the tank was only 1/4 tank and still leaning, so that is not it. Shoot, I weigh 300lbs so this is going to do some serious leaning. LOL

But I agree with the OP, it shouldn't be leaning with no one in it regardless if the tank is full or not.

Interested in what the OP finds out and if the bed was really the culprit.

Raptorwifey, please don't respond. Your last response was out of line and if you can't add anything constructive, then ****.

The Ford Raptor does indeed lean with a full tank of gas due to the softer suspension.

If the OP would have done some more research before calling wolf, RW wouldn't have responded that way.

If your bed isn't set right and your positive its not from uneven weight, talk to your dealer.

If you want an aftermarket solution to the lean, check out some new rear springs and get the driver side over arched by .5 inches.

I am new here and don't even have my ordered Raptor yet so technically I shouldn't be stepping on toes. But being in forums is nothing new for me, been doing that since the 80's. Isn't a forum a place to go to do research and ask others and look for assistance? I think the OP did everything right and asked others here. RW was not helpful and her response would of been offending on any forum. I was somewhat pissed just reading it and I am not even the OP, so no wonder the OP responded back like he did.

I took a picture with my GF driving my truck near the end of an off road trip.

Later that night she took one of me after I filled up the tank.

Me=310lbs

36 gallons of gas=216lbs

526lbs of EXTRA weight on the drivers side.

My Craptor leans like a Cholo.
