Raptor has a HUD...sort of

I have a 2019 screw loaded with every option. Until recently I didn't know about a particular feature and that is GPS navigation is displayed on your main instrument cluster.

When viewing the Trip/Fuel>>Navigation/Compass gauge all I ever saw was a compass with the option of fixing North or letting the compass rotate while I drive. I didn't care about it so I never used it...until recently....

Purely by accident while using GPS navigation I was scrolling through gauges and this time when I selected TRIP/Fuel>>Navigation/Compass instead of a compass there is a nice display that shows my next turn, distance, speed limit. Quite handy and means I don't have to look over at the center console.

Small feature but pretty cool!!

yes, this is probably the one advantage of using the factory nav over either apple maps or waze.

I miss sync 2 ON 2013-2016 cars and trucks. many had a driver configurable display usually to the right of the speedo that allowed you dp display radio, nav, climate, or phone info.

I miss having radio track info on display. since I use Waze 99% of the time now, it has gone away.

And Mazda and chev have hud. Look for it in future models . I think chev even changes hud to match modes . And for a few thousand you can get factory brimble on a chev. Ford has some catching up to do

Either this is new to the ‘19 (or ‘18), or I never saw this on my ‘17 (that I put almost 70k miles on).

I love that it shows what lane i need to be in for a exit or turn in the navigation. So simple yet some other navs dont have it....
