I’d rather see the SC 5.2 V8 out of the GT-500 than 2 EcoBoosts for some variety. The 5.2 is 760 horsepower and an aluminum block so it doesn’t have the boat anchor effect. It would actually fit this platform nicely and hit TRX back.
That is where I am at. The new Raptor has to fight back with the 760 HP GT 500 motor. Don’t waste time with a little 500 HP hybrid set up, I have no interest in that. I will be selling my current Gen 2 Raptor at that point and moving on from Ford if they do that.

I am sure the hp will be higher than 500 in the hybrid setup. Do you just want bragging rights about hp? Because you wouldn’t need 760hp V8 to outperform the TRX.

Have you alerted Ford of your plans?

Move on to what? It's not like 500+ HP full size truck models are a dime a dozen. What you're essentially saying is that you're going to with a TRX if you don't get a SC V8 option in the Raptor. Nothing wrong with that, but there's no need to claim that a Gen 3 Raptor that meets the needs of anyone who isn't chasing after HP and V8 noises is a waste of time.

Personally, I don't think people have that good of a feel for how well a V6 TT hybrid Raptor will perform, both in driving experience and having the onboard generator. It may take some time for that to really sink in.

Did everyone see where the TRX ran Baja and the Mint 400?
Yeah, neither did I....

Did anyone see the exciting new front diff in the TRX?
Yeah, neither did I. It's called open diff. lol, WTF

Did anyone see the awesome specs where the 2021 TRX completely outclasses the Gen 2 Raptor in the important off road specs? Yeah, neither did I.
They really set themselves apart....from the stock Ram, and built to the Raptor. lol

I'm not sure if the TRX would last if it ran Baja...imho. From what I hear Ram trucks not the most reliable.
