I am going all the way to Texas. Most people would not do it but I would. Considering you will probably never have an experience like this in any other circumstance. To me, it would be worth it.

I agree with Sonoma. If my truck was at all prepared I would go to Texas. Think of it as a vacation to Mexico. You'll just be driving the whole time.
