Someone briefly mentioned it in a thread that got buried, so I started a new thread about it:

17/23 could have been a misprint but it was posted on a Raptor-only spec sheet on an actual 2017 Raptor. IMO it is reasonable and believable, and I expect it to continue to be the official EPA number when we see window stickers.
Gen1 is 7 years old now, ecoboost is tremendously more efficient, Gen2 is 500lbs lighter, etc. 13th generation F150 is overall more efficient than 12th regardless of powertrain.
'16 4x4 F150 is already 16/22, and that's before the new more efficient 3.5 EB and the new 10 speed transmission, which are each probably worth at least 1mpg.
If cost is your concern it might still cost as much as last-gen if they require premium gas, but range wise you should be good to go for 600-800 miles if you opt for the supercrew.
