Someone briefly mentioned it in a thread that got buried, so I started a new thread about it:

http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f260/raptor-epa-fuel-economy-figures-17-23-a-49351/

17/23 could have been a misprint but it was posted on a Raptor-only spec sheet on an actual 2017 Raptor. IMO it is reasonable and believable, and I expect it to continue to be the official EPA number when we see window stickers.

Gen1 is 7 years old now, ecoboost is tremendously more efficient, Gen2 is 500lbs lighter, etc. 13th generation F150 is overall more efficient than 12th regardless of powertrain.

'16 4x4 F150 is already 16/22, and that's before the new more efficient 3.5 EB and the new 10 speed transmission, which are each probably worth at least 1mpg.

If cost is your concern it might still cost as much as last-gen if they require premium gas, but range wise you should be good to go for 600-800 miles if you opt for the supercrew.

600-800 may be a bit lofty, I'm guessing real world range will be somewhere around 600 (sub 600) and just north of 500 with bed loaded/off road.

Which is still an improvement over gen won, but only by 25-30% range-wise (not 2x as your 800 mile range would be vs gen won).

An 800 mile range alone would sway my opinion, so I hope you're right. That would be huge.

So that's at least the second confirmed event where this has been posted. I think they would have corrected it by now if it was an error.

Still a little time before we find out if Ford's estimated EPA figures are their actual EPA figures but they can't be too far off.

Hello all.

The fuel economy figures in the photo are not correct. We'll share final Raptor estimated gas mileage after we've received EPA certification.

Thanks!

When will Ford be receiving this EPA certification?
