Raptor envy?

Question for the group. Do you get people in other trucks driving more aggressively around you? I drive the speed limit and I have guys blowing by me, or at a red light trying to “beat me” off the line.

I’ve driven Ford trucks for the last 25 years and never experienced people reacting to my truck until I bought a Raptor. Am I paranoid, or are other drivers that intimidated?

Haha, it mostly happens with Chevy guys, especially in the new fugly ones.....

Ha ha! Yep.. Had a guy in a Ram trying to race me from the lights the other day.. I just ignored his revving motor. Have had a coupla other guys in trucks pulling up to me but I dunno if they wanted to race or were just eyeballing my truck.

I typically don’t have people trying to race me, but my wife is a bit annoyed by all the envy from our larger circle of friends and acquaintances. On more than a few occasions, guys tell me they love my truck and ladies tell my wife, their husbands like my truck.

I also tell my wife that women flash their **** when I’m driving around in the Raptor. Maybe that is what annoys her. Haha.

People ask "Have you seen the new chevy trucks?" I say "Not since 2nd gear!"

Yup lots of trucks flexing their muscle at the stop lights. I typically ignore them. I have obliged a couple tho.

The worst is the cars behind expecting to mat it every stop light. Can’t stand the tailgaters.

Was mentioning this to my business partner yesterday. Other people in trucks just act like ******** around this thing, especially on the highway - something I never experienced driving a car.

It's certainly enjoyable. It's fun knowing that I don't "have" to challenge you. But for the verrrrry rare times when some d-bag makes it almost impossible to say no, I oblige and see them at the next stop light as they crawl/slink up to me in shame...
