i hope everyone realizes that right now performance vehicles are not selling that well. it's a buyer's market and you just have to be patient and play a little hardball. sometimes you gotta call the dealer's bluff especially if you are placing an early order where they are most likely going to try to gouge you.

it drive me bonkers when idiots pay so much over sticker. it allows dealers to continue this idiocy at the expense of customers and reputation. luckily, some of them are finally learning the power of the internet and how quickly information spreads.

Called another local dealer today. Southern California dealer. He took a photo of a contract for one of his 6 allocations.. $20k over msrp.

I think CA is the sole reason that Ford allocated the first batch to begin with. Those dealers would have each ordered dozens of them if allowed and rest of the country would have been screaming.

I called around alot to different Dealerships. The city of Industry kept saying they were not sure of the markup. So I passed on them, every other place said $10k except Santa Monica Ford which was $5k, that was the lowest I was able to find in socal.

let the idiots pay over sticker. sadly, i wonder much over sticker many of the users on here that have an order in the pipeline paid. for me, it's a matter of principal. this is a mass produced FORD, this is not some specialty rare vehicle. i've purchased an SVT Cobra and a Shelby GT500 and i got both under sticker from reasonable dealers. unfortunately, reasonable dealers seem to get harder and harder to find.

i said OVER sticker *******. and yes, it is my opinion that you are an idiot if you pay over sticker because it is not worth it. if you are butt hurt about it, get off the internet.
