I don't believe sitting in a car with a stranger and possibly getting COVID, and bringing it home to my family is worth having one day of fun. I get it you are such a tough guy, sitting behind your keyboard and all.

1) I am a tough guy...thanks
2) My family would expect a souvenir of some kind.
3) There is a medical protocol to eliminate the illness.
4) Just how many people under 70 with NO preexisting conditions do you know that has contracted CV?

If they shut down the school and/or local hotels/restaurants, you'll be able to reschedule. If all is open then it's on you.
Schools were shut down and will likely be again in the fall. I get if they are open its on me to decide if its worth it, and I decided it's not. I've been off-roading and will continue, might have learned something, and probably would be fun, but life goes on. I figured it wouldn't hurt oask if they are rescheduling since most of 2020 is shut down, I didn't get mad or yell at them, I get it, they are running a business and they can decide how to run it. I called asked and moved on, I was just letting others know in case they were wondering if rescheduling was allowed. RA said things still could change, but as far as they know now, no rescheduling after your year is up.

Your keyboard is the only thing that makes you tough.

I'm not afraid of my shadow by any means. I've been at work everyday since this has started, no time off, not working from home, in the office for a logistics company getting food to you. But a day of fun driving 15+ hours and staying in hotels that we have no idea of how clean they are and sitting next to others for a day, not worth the risk.

I wish I could say that I have been working everyday since all of this started. I will loose close to $100k this year because of this political BS. When the government decides which businesses and stay open (and are safe), but closes others (because it's unsafe), it is painfully clear this is completely political. And it puzzles me how people who have been working all along cannot see this. Tell me how it is more dangerous for churches to stay open than to have thousands protest and gather with NO social distancing or mask requirements??? This is so crystal clear.

Just had to cancel. I was scheduled for Aug 15th and was going to take a week and see the sights and go up to YellowStone. But with the Covid and hot sports reappearing wife and I decided it wasn't worth the risk to drive out there from ST Louis and stay in different hotels with our son. I call the school and they won't let you reschedule into next year. Thought this year being pretty much shut down, they might have some expections.

Why not wait until the last minute to cancel? If things heat up and they cancel on you, there are likely a lot more options.

Easier to call it now, with the hotel reservations and time off work would need to be scheduled now. I have until Nov, so I can try and sign up again if some miracle cures Covid and all the other stuff going on now.

Thanks for staying out and providing services to the country. We had 6 people die at JBS meat packing plant here in Colorado, and I think 2 Walmart - that I know of anyway, so there's definitely a risk.

I'd go if they would only do one driver per Raptor, since social distancing is the main factor in not getting it, but unfortunately the folks at RA don't care to take this measure, at least from what I read on their site. If they change it, I'll go.

They'll change it, the day after your year runs out.
