I took the course in Sept of 2013, and loved it too. Sounds like they've improved it as the hill climb and descent, and side hill were all done on the Miller Motorsports complex. We did our high speed runs on a 100 acre ranch across the street and dropped into a ravine that swept left and right....
The biggest thing I learned was to comfortably use the left foot on the brakes going into a turn to weight the front end to aid traction of the front wheels. Having driven standard transmissions since I was 11 it was the first time I ever used the left foot for anything but the clutch...
I stayed just outside of Salt Lake City at a comfortable motel about 30 miles or so from Tooele.
I too have recommended this to anyone and everyone than can go....
