I took the course in Sept of 2013, and loved it too. Sounds like they've improved it as the hill climb and descent, and side hill were all done on the Miller Motorsports complex. We did our high speed runs on a 100 acre ranch across the street and dropped into a ravine that swept left and right....
The biggest thing I learned was to comfortably use the left foot on the brakes going into a turn to weight the front end to aid traction of the front wheels. Having driven standard transmissions since I was 11 it was the first time I ever used the left foot for anything but the clutch...
I stayed just outside of Salt Lake City at a comfortable motel about 30 miles or so from Tooele.
I too have recommended this to anyone and everyone than can go....

Where to stay

I would recommend staying at 802 E Belmont ave on airbnb! Great place! Paid 250 for 3 nights. The host is great! Provides enough food for breakfast everyday for 2 people. Right downtown where you can walk to everything and only 30 minutes to ford!

well, it’s a meet / greet the night before, dinner on FRPS, tour the museum, buy swag at the gift shop.

Then you drive the next day.

What time does the driving day wrap up? I booked August 6-7 and am getting ready to make flight and hotel reservations. Possible to take a late flight out after the driving day?
