Trying to book a flight out of SLC that night. Based on when it ends do you think an 8pm flight will be ok?

Those are my dates too. Plan to arrive a day early to hit to the local breweries.

Will then head to Denver for the GABF Oct 5/6/7.

Should be a good week.

Guy in a previous thread said there was a brewery next to the Holiday Inn in Tooele. Think thats where im gonna stay. Everyone says the Comfort Inn is not so good.

depending on where you rent your car from, that should be enough time. I’ve only flown to/from SLC 1 time but security moved briskly. 1 or more rental companies are within a 15 minute shuttle ride to the airport, so keep that in mind.

Assuming you get to the car rental drop at 5:45 or so, you should be ok. Any later and you might be rushed. Of course, if the line moves like it did when I went through in April, you don’t need anywhere near 2 hours before the flight to sit and wait.

You will be fine. I caught a 8pm flight and even had time to go to Dinner. You could probably make a 630pm flight.

The brewery helps but it's still Toole and still Utah....

If you can make it to Red Iguana (or Red Iguana 2 ... which has a bar) do it. It's not far from the SLC Airport. It's my FAVORITE Mexican restaurant IN THE WORLD.

The earliest flight I could get outta there was 9PM so ill have a lil time to kill.....

Best in the world? Ok ill have to hit up that spot on the way out for sure. Seeing as youve lived in CA and AZ I know youve had good mexican food to compare to!

RED IGUANA IS AWESOME. They have a good tequila list too. The Amerillas Mole is great and the red Pipian. Make sure to ask for a mole sample. They have a bunch of different ones and they are all great.

High West Distillery has a mini-shop / bar in the SLC airport. They make a respectable bourbon and rye. If you’ve got time to kill...

I finished the Assualt program earlier today - amazing - and the best takeaway I can share with a Gen2 owner is check your tire pressure. I picked mine up from the dealer at 49 cold PSI and have been running that during the 1,800 miles since. Way too much pressure. Dropping mine to 34 as soon as I get off the plane tomorrow.

And Squatters on W Broadway is a great place for a craft brew and dinner. Buy the bottles if you want normal ABV.
