My buddy has a 2018 and just took the class, so I believe it is '18 and '19.

I may just sign up my son and I will sit in the hotel and work while he drives. Sacrifices....

unless, of course, I can find somebody who just purchased a Raptor and does not want to go to the school. Then I can use their VIN#.

I agree it would be cool to be able to buy more than one pass. My wife just finished the class last Thursday. She had no off-road or racing school experience and she had a blast. There are members on here that would say that the program is pretty lame, but for the way most people use their raptors, it is definitely a fun experience.

I had a blast and it was great meeting a solid group of Raptor owners, plus the instructors were all cool too. If you are a pro off road racer, you maybe too cool for this. Otherwise I would say it was a fun experience overall and I appreciated it.

I missed the fact that you drive their vehicle! I live in KY and really didn’t want to drive mine all the way out there... especially to go by myself.

Dcheshire, I bought a new Raptor in January and received a letter with info a few weeks ago. You can also go to www.raptorassault.com or call the Ford Performance Racing School at 435-27-SPEED and sign up. Have your VIN handy.

We just purchased a 2019 Raptor. My son and I both drive the truck and were hoping to, BOTH, attend the school. However, I was informed that it is ONLY 1 driver per VIN number and you can't pay for the 2nd driver, even though we both drive the truck.

Has anybody figured out a way to get around this? I really feel this would be extremely beneficial for my son to learn how to drive the Raptor the "right way". And, I could use the experience as well.

Appreciate any input.

Thanks.
I just purchased my 2014 and wanted to take the class...knew it was only for new buyers, but had no problem with PAYING for the class....NOPE...contacted them and you cant even pay for it....They did recommend a company that although didnt specialize in Raptor, does teach alot of the 4x4 Off-Road stuff...Might be a nice present for your son when he gets his license...with you learning from one class and him from another...you should have it all covered...
Good Luck...

Two things:

1) Classes fill up REALLY FAST. You may not be able to get in until late this year...if at all. Sign Up Now!

2) They tell you repeatedly: Don't take your personal truck out on the trails after the school.....that's where they have had multiple incidents of people using their new "skills" and damaging/destroying their trucks and getting hurt.

Really loved going in May 2018....lots of nice people and really fun!

It is a free school in Utah offered for one person per vin. It is free, you just pay for airfar/hotel. You use their truck. it is dinner the night before, then an 8 hour event the next day including a small race course, a rock crawling course, a trail section up in the mountains, then a fast baja session. it is a lot of fun. raptorassault.com
