So under advanced settings on my 18 raptor I see a setting for rain sensing and one for courtesy wipe. Someone please explain each of these to me plz. I’ve never noticed my wipers come on without me turning them on. Do yours auto detect rain and come on for you?

Does your truck have the technology package? Rain sensing wipers is part of that.

The first wiper detent is off.
Second detent is auto min.
Third detent is auto medium.
Etc.
Etc.
Last few detents are manual wiper modes.

If you read the wiper stalk, this is written on it.

I don’t have any minimum and maximum settings like u talk about, I can chose auto wiper on or off and courtesy wipe on or off.

I think your just talking about turning wipers on, yea I got that figured out. No manual needed to learn how to use wipers, I’m talking about something different

There are 3 or 4 auto wiper settings on the stalk that vary the sensitivity of the auto sensing, it is clearly labeled on the stalk with the capital letters "AUTO". Twist even further for manual wiper. First setting is off.

I suspect the problem you have is you are leaving the wipers in the off position.

The Curtesy wipe is that extra sweep you get a second or two after using your window washer

I have the Tech package and 802A...
My rain sensing auto wipers go absolutely nuts in the rain. They go slow then fast, then slow then double fast then off then on, all in a consistent rain volume.
I have had it at the dealer once, they swear its fine, but the auto rain sense function drives me nuts.
I'm thinking of disconnecting the rain sensor and see how that works...
