Radiator hose snapped deep in Baja

Anyone have this issue before? Do you typically carry extra engine hoses/clamps when you are deep in Baja.

I was about 600 miles from the border and was towed about 60 miles to Abrejojos to have it repaired. Very easy repair if you have the part.

Carry duct tape and clamps for sure, wouldnt think a hose would blow that bad though, probably hot out there now!

I carry clamps but not hoses. Some runs where they have a support truck might carry some but not all. I had my heater hose bust and lost coolant but I was able to cut where it ripped and reroute the hose to make it work. I don’t carry water in a jug but someone else did.

I carry used lower hose and new upper, and clamps . Lost a upper back 2012 , ever since carry hose and spare serpentine belt . Back then 2010 lower were on back order for like 6 months.
