Race Red any regrets ?

My 2014 F150 FX4 Supercrew was Race Red and I loved the bright red color but man that Ruby Red Metallic Supercrew is loved just a hair more, it's a beautiful color and goes so well with the rest of the truck.

The two color options for me were Grey or Ruby Red Metallic and originally I was leaning towards the Grey Metallic but when I saw the Ruby Red Metallic Supercrew for the first time in person I knew it was the color I had to have on my Raptor.

I went with Magnetic Grey so all of the extra Raptor trim pieces match. The rest of the truck is blacked out, so I only have two colors on the truck. (ignoring the bare metal skid plate)

My 13 Gen 1 was Race Red and Loved it! As others have said it pops. Race Red is rare where I live. My dealer has only ordered two since the Gen 2 rolled. It will be more unique!

My gen 1 was black. Went with magnetic this time around. I believe the raptor no matter what color is the best truck on and off road. The extra mods don't hurt. All boils down to how much $$$ you want to throw at it.

Race red is rare around here, it seems. When I was looking to buy last year, I didn't even see one for sale around here. Hell, I didn't even know they made that color on the Raptor, until a few months after I bought mine, I passed one around the corner from my place. I am sure I can count on 1 hand how many race red Gen2's I have seen on the road. Black and blue seem dominate around here.

I am glad I didn't know it was even an available color, I probably would have bought one. I love red. In hindsight though, it seems a bit like putting bacon bits on your bacon, if you know what I mean. It's f'ing bold on a Raptor. Looks badass, but a little much for my use.

Same here. Race red is rare. I've only seen 2 in the year I've owned mine and one was in another state. My only complaint (and minor) is the view straight on from the side. The truck is really long and red seems to exaggerate this point when looking straight on to the side. At other angles, love it. Just a lot of red from the side with little breaking it up. Thinking black would mask the length some. Lots of black and white around here, so went with one nobody had.

I love the ruby red, but when I ordered my 18' that wasn't an option. It was between the Race Red and Lightning Blue....When I checked out a LB colored truck in person at a dealer it was my color!....The LB has a subtle metallic and looks awesome (to me..) in the bright sun...I too wanted a color that would pop...the L/Blue does.

There was no other color for me, had to be Race Red. I have been wanting a red pick up for 50 years. All my other trucks were awesome, got great deals on them, bought them because they were available. This one, I was lucky enough to order it exactly the way I wanted.

Absolutely Love race red!! Was so bummed when it was not available in 2017 and I was ready to trade my 14 (also race red), so I went with Avalanche Gray. Which I have to say, I did like a lot, but it wasn't race red. When it came back in 18, it was too soon to trade so I pulled the trigger a year later on a 19. Absolutely love red vehicles, just something about them. I rarely see them but when I do....
