I have slept since then.. I think 4-5 light coats... Patience is the key.. Light coats even though it doesn't look like it is covering.. Leaving it alone and letting each coat flash (dry) before next coat..

Yup 4-5 coats 20-30 minutes apart gave me great results!

This plastidip looks pretty cool. Been seeing it mentioned on the forum but hadn't given it much thought until now. Is the brand "Plastidip"? Do I get it at PepBoys or Home Depot? I was thinking inside rear fender wells (rather than Line X since dealer doing bed with Toff), and now the same body color piece under front bumper.

Home depot has it.. In the paint department by stains, varnishes.. Usually on the bottom two shelves.. Get spray on, the brush/dip can is a pain to get consistent results...

Still working on door sill protector with plastidip.. Just can not get it right..

ive only used it once but the stuff is great. i was looking to cover some of the painted body that was exposed when i took the jump seats outa my ranger. googled "rubberized paint", and there it was. rubberized paint is pretty much what it is. 4 years and the stuff looks like i just put it on.
