I thought I posted these but I guess I forgot. I am thrilled with how it came out.

I'm not so wild about this plastidip stuff. I only tried it on the bezel of my tailgate Ford logo, but weeks later I could peel it off by rubbing one thumb on it. The stuff looks great when you put it on, but it just comes off too easily. As a temporary solution it works great, and the way it works is cool, but if you're looking to change the color of something permanently I would avoid that stuff.

Someone above said they wanted to do their wheel wells with it... I highly doubt it would hold up to rocky dirt or gravel in there.

I'm not knocking the product, but with the way I use my truck I opted to go with something tougher. I don't want to keep reapplying. LineX Premium once and be done with it is what I decided.

I agree with you to a point. I wouldn't do my wheel wells, wheels or skid plate but bumpers, flares, and grill I think will be pretty safe. Plus let's face it even linex eventually will get damage to it and at $5 a can its super cheap and simple to make it look like new again. I was looking at just over $900 to do everything in linex. Me personally would rather spend the $850ish on another mod!

Extremely high abuse areas, I would choose something different. However, I put Plastidip on the day before TRR and it's been there ever since. Still looks great and cleans easily. I ran all weekend at TRR without a problem. I've been back to Texana to run and I've ran at my ranch. The stuff is holding up impressively on the wheels.

Your right Bo.

I like plastidip and have used it on numerous applications...Its does look great and its easy to use....But rub your thumb too hard...and it tears or comes up.

If your using it to see how flat black looks, great idea. If you want it to be permenant, use a rattle can.
