Question on WSI bed mount with Rigid?

I'm considering doing the WSI bed mount for the Rigid 50" but I am concerned about how much light will reflect off the top of the cab and if you can still have the sun roof open. I don't want the light to hinder the drivers visibility if the sun roof is open.

Has any one really tested this?

Send a PM to "labraptor". He has Jimmy's light bar with Rigids and can give you an assessment. I'm pretty sure he's loving it!

No on Rigid up there. They are Whelens.
Forgot about sunroof part of question. It is bright with it open. Some might think it is OK, it bugs me too much. Also, 40" max is what the bar is intended to hold if you want the light bar. The bed mount rack with light mount ... ask Jimmy not sure what can go on that one.

Horrible picture, but you can see with dual 40" on WSI rack it really lights up the roof..

Yeah, it's unavoidable really. But with the sunroof closed you don't even notice it. I will say though, there is almost zero glare off the hood , as you would get from an above the windshield mount. Oh and the rack only fits up to a 40".

Great information guys! Looks like I only need the 40 inch but I may try to meet up with somebody that has one to see the glare in person. I don't know of anyone around central Indiana with one so I may just have make the purchase and hope for the best.

I gotta be a little careful on height since I only have a little more room to the top of the garage door. My garage is heated and A/C so I do a lot of work in the garage The beer fridge is in there to!

What little glare you will get will be over shadowed by the massive increase in light output.

Since your in Indiana, I can only assume your going to Havoc in the Hills in PA. Not only will you have the opportunity to check out several Raptors with light bars...but Jimmy/WSI will be a vendor there so he can provide you on-site assistance.

Didn't know anything about the Havoc get together. Found the dates and I can probably make that but I want to get the light issue taken care of before then. I have the Rigids in the fog light location but more light is needed. Probably going to change the rear springs also.
