i'd urge you to take a look at the difference in crash test results between the two.

The lack of the b pillar in the scabs makes for scary crash test results. The screw seems to fair much better.

All things considered, the screw was the right fit for me. The huge flat floor makes road trips with my monster dog ( who is getting old) really comfortable for him. ( he is 180 lbs)

You sure somebody didn't sell you a pony?


Damn nice, I really like the shorter look.

The SCREW is a foot longer than the SCAB. If you intend to park your new acquisition in the garage, you might take the time to use a tape measure to see if the SCREW will fit. If you have a standard depth garage, it's a good bet that it won't.

I absolutely love the look of the scab but I want with screw. The added room has already proven useful after just 3 days. The extra 10 gallons of fuel also means I’ve got an extra 2 days before I need to make a pit stop.
