This is why I asked. I've never been in the market for a used vehicle where the book value is higher than it was new. It's hard to argue with the sales guy when NADA shows $52k though.

I've found that the "sticker" price listed for new ones almost never have the ADP markup. Two dealers (at least here in CA) listed the sticker price then when I inquired, there was $5k to $10k markup.
The $5k markup for for a 800 and the dealer touted how their markup was much lower than the rest... oh great....
