I've seen a ton of posts in here about the fake engine sounds and how you can disable it in ********. Does it come through somehow even if the radio is off? I would assume not, but I never had anything with piped in sound before. Thanks.

My 2019 scab b/o system does not have it as far as i can tell. I hear the exhaust at full throttle muffled , if open rear slider it is same noise just louder . Nothing like what i hear on you tube.

********? Lots of jokes with that...

Yes, I think it's always a good idea to keep a close hand on things like that.

That's why I asked. I have the B&O in a '20 and with the stereo off I can't hear anything that doesn't sound like it's from the engine.

The one I test drove made V8 noises when I punched it, and only then ... I didn't look under the hood.

I have a '20 B&O and can't tell if it's pumped in or not. Doesn't sound like it's an "enhanced" engine noise so it doesn't concern me. Even if it is pumped in, the noise isn't artificial they just enhance it from what is already being created.

Yeah it’s piped in and gets annoying after awhile. Once you disable it, makes it so much more enjoyable. The rumble without the rumble inside my head.
Can be disabled under FORScan.

It was my understanding that the 2019 had it disabled from the factory since Ford was getting feedback that users didn't like it.

I don't believe mine is enabled.
