If you are talking about wet asphalt with occasional icy spots, you will destroy many parts driving in 4 high or 4 low. You will hear all kinds of nasty noises due to the extreme pressure being put on the driveline.icy/slippery conditions
I don't drive on 4hi at all. Im always on 2hi. Probably used it 2 or 3 times.
