If you purchase a New 19 it should be Invoice minus all the Holdback or a 20 should be at least invoice.

20’s come with Sync 3.4 vs 3.3 in the 19’s, which you can manually upgrade or wait for Ford to push out eventually. Otherwise the ‘19 refresh is the same in 2020.

I find it interesting only few vehicles like a Raptor that’s left over from ‘19 can still sit on a lot and even command a good price all things considered. And not to mention a current year Raptor might be parked next to it.

If it was a plain F-150, they would have to give it away and they did, so there’s no 19’s to be found.

Been researching and saving cash for about two years now, selling the Sierra this weekend.

Whats the Big advantages on a 2020 versus a 2019 Left Over?

Im Looking at a White, Crew Cab, 802A, Loaded (minus graphics and Carbon package)

I have a 2019 found for around $63k, but i let a 2020 slip through the cracks for $67500.

What all do you guys think?

Same truck; Simply for resale in future, if they’re about $4K apart in price or greater, go with the 19, less than 4K, I’d lean toward 20.

And keep saving cash...cuz you’re gonna need it if you hang out on these forums and find out what you suddenly cannot do without. Modding is an addiction. They need a 12 step program on here...

I’m sure Old Fart or 911 or one of the other wiser guys will come up with a 12 step program for the mod addiction...haha.

Couple of big ones, but nothing crazy that would make me avoid the earlier ones if you are looking to save some dough by going used:

better shocks - live valve that adjust in real time
Trail Control system - basically low speed cruise control for off road
adaptive cruise control now stop and go
recaro seat option
different beadlock wheel design and some new paint colors

If I didn't have a truck yet I would be looking for leftover new ones 2019 or 20...deals should be good on these given current economic conditions

My dealer has a 19 802 loaded with Recaro's and stickers that has been on the lot since Jan 19. I just purchased a 20 yesterday for about $2K more than the 19.

Dealers around here will only do invoice minus Holdback on a 19. Beyond that they are losing money.

My 20 MSRP was $73,109 and I paid $65,306 (discount was around $7,800)

That is a great deal. Did you have a trade? I would need to trade and am guessing any additional savings I could muster will be offset by a proportional reduction in trade in value.

Yes....got excellent condition book on my trade. Was going to sell it out right, however getting book for it and the tax credit worked in my favor. I couldn't have sold it to cover the tax difference.

18 Raptor 802 package, twin panel, spray liner with 6,800 miles trade was $58,500. I purchased it originally for $63k.

Yeah about to close on a deal on a 20 Raptor Rapid Red MSRP: was $75,960 and getting it for $68,184 (discount was around $7,800) loaded. The only thing missing is the bed liner and the Recaro’s seats. No trade in and they are giving me a 2.54% for 60 months.

I bought that exact spec for 63,114 in December. 2019 model.
