Pretty much anytime you touch your suspension, in this case take the shocks out, replace springs and put them back, you'll need an alignment.

Correct right there. If you can get out for 300 bucks including alignment your doing pretty good. It's a pretty big job and requires some special equipment. If your a real good DIY wrench truner you might do it yourself.

Yeah, there is a lot involved, but i think it's a driveway DIY job. You can rent the spring compress from a local auto parts store, and then the rest is jack stands and regular tools. I plan on doing mine myself.

Went and picked my truck up this afternoon from the shop. I have the Geis Bros on with mid perch and I'm surprised on how soft they still are. As soft as a stock raptor in my opinion. After taking down a couple dirt roads at high speeds the springs are now my favorite mod. The look of top perch with the feel of bottom perch. Love them.

I put these on over the weekend in my driveway with a buddy, absolutely love them honestly. The install was not bad at all in my opinion (plus, you know...cradling these shocks once you get them out is extra manly and deserves a grunt or two). First alignment not so well, follow-up in the morning to fix that but that was out of my control at the time.
