Programming a third key

Ok...great if you have both keys. How about if you (I) lost one and need to replace it? Doesn't sound like this would work.

Worked great, got a key for 80 USD for my Gen 2 2017 from eBay (New) the 2017 key is so ******, the 2018 is a solid feel and way cooler

Do you have a part number or eBay link you used to get the 2018+ key? I also like that better than the 2017.

Also, do you know if I got two if you could program all 4?

I did this, it says successful however, new 2019 key is not working.
On a 2017 truck

Any tips on why my key did not work? It programmed successfully and it ONLY turns the car on but nothing else works.

Yes. Today I successfully did it. I had 2017 keyfob and bought raptor keyfob 2018+ with different FCC ID ( found out later ). I made programming by myself in the truck’s cup holder. You needs to use both old keys to do it.

I recently bought a replacement 2017 Raptor (Other one got totaled) that only came with one key fob but I still have a spare key fob from my old raptor. Will this process still work so I can still use this spare key fob?

No. That procedure requires two programmed keys.

You may want to look into the ForScan extended license, I believe that has the capability to program an additional key.

Alright, thanks for the quick reply I appreciate it! Guess I'll just bring the old spare to the dealership and see what they'll charge to re-program then.
