2020 Raptor with PRNDM light added.

Two parts used:
FL3Z-13466-B (light)
8U2Z-14S411-LA (wiring harness)

I connected PRNDM lights to cup holder lights, since 2020 no longer has built-in connector.

with accent lights:

Thanks for posting these parts. Can you say what you paid? Imma do this if it isn’t crazy expensive. And also, was it plug and play or did you have to splice?

That’s definitely worth it. Did it plug right in or did you splice wires?

Well first time driving my 2020 at night and I thought something was wrong on mine. Quick research and see this thread. I always look down at the shifter when moving it to make sure what gear I am in, guess a habit. I see that we can light it up with parts to buy but no indicator light. Not worth it to me to just light up the letters.

So I jump into my 14’ GEN1 and sure enough, lights and indicator along with it being in the dash too. Odd that new tech would remove this, guess I will get used to it but seems stupid on Ford’s part.

Nothing to do with new tech. It is Ford being cheap and doing cost cutting.

I added the PRNDM light to my 2020. Although it doesn't serve any real purpose, like indicate which gear it is in. It illuminated on my last 4 F150s so I wanted it to illuminate on this one. I ordered my 2020 at the end of November 2019 and took delivery the end of March but I had the parts to do this mod long before I had my truck. :)

Seems like there are other things that Ford could of done to save cost on the truck that wouldn’t have a direct effect to what the consumer sees and functions that the majority of vehicles have been using for decades. I mean they could of saved more money by removing the right/left blinkers since all those millions of ******** who don’t even use them. I’ve seen cops not even use them.
