Hey all,
Long story short, bought a used raptor a few weeks ago. Dropped the spare today to install a cat back and noticed the white paint around the rear bump stops.... I'm no professional, but isn't that indicative of the frame getting some attention from a specialist/frame alignment shop??? Not only does it annoy me that they "missed it" during a 400,000 point inspection to make it a ford certified used vehicle, but the fact that the truck was pushed that hard makes it unnerving for me. Anyways, I attached some pics let me know what you all think. I also noticed some leaking from the rear left reservoir.... :(

How is your alignment between the back of the cab and the front of the box? Is the gap between there the same at the top and at the bottom, if so, don't worry about it. The leak in the shock, well, it might need to be rebuilt.

Sucks but these trucks often get pushed hard. I wouldn't worry about it as long as it was fixed. These trucks are tough and can handle it.

Congrats on the purchase btw!

Shocks do seep a bit from the reservoir. Don't sweat it too hard regarding the bumpstop area being marked. As long as the truck drives well and everything's intact, you should be fine.

I would recommend some Deavers +2 or +3 rear springs as a first mod.
Those stock springs are shot to begin with! They are arched the wrong way!
The way it is now you are always going to hit the bump stops.

I would seriously be talking to the dealer.

I still have my stock springs in my garage, put them out in the garbage but they won't take them.
You can have them for free!

I would never buy a used Raptor but if I did that area is the first thing to check. Well known about that particular area being a weak spot on the truck.

I was wondering if he has just one side of the truck jacked up and the spring is loaded on the one side?? Never seen a spring that arched before, wow!
