I dunno, if you have the 36 gallon tank, you could go 8-10 hrs between fill ups, depending on how hard and how low you run it. I'd change every 'bio-stop' i.e. rest areas. You'll need to empty your tanks before you fill the trucks' tank..haha. Otherwise as others have said, check everything beforehand, and if you've never had to refill any oil between changes you should be good to go. If you use a quart or so between changes (i.e. 'normal usage), ck it every tank or other tank, whatever makes you comfortable. Do it at the END of filling, so the oil has a chance to drain back down and you don't inadvertently overfill it.

Lol!! Curse of the crew cab! I have a super cab so that gives me at least 2 less hours in the seat! And yes, def suggestive to switch sooner than that, say, every 4 hours!
