just following up to see if you’re still liking the CAT compressor @Raptorlaw?

I’ve been looking at the ARBs and wiring it in seems like a job I don’t want to do. I’ve looked at the C02 and don’t love the idea of that either. And I’ve looked at the jumper cable ones and it just seems easier/better to do what you’ve done and mount that baby in the bed and use it off ProPower.

Has anyone else done this as well?

I mean, we have the ProPower, why not use it if it’s not drawing too much power?

From what I’ve been reading the Retrax fits well with the Builtrights. I think someone said they needed to move a clamp slightly up towards the bed or something to that effect, but still goes nicely together. Maybe someone else can speak to this.

I was looking at the Retrax but decided to go with an x4s and that looks to fit well too. Disclaimer I have the builtrights, x4s isn’t here yet and I have no truck lol…

Did your X4S end up fitting well with the builtright racks?

I’d love to say yes, but still no truck lol. The x4s is sitting in my garage still in the box. :-(

ARB install hasn't been too bad. Looks worse than it really is. I started it today, just didn't get time to finish. Should be able to complete the wiring tomorrow.20220701_120233.jpg

Install Retrax on Gen3 and basically lose most useable space on the small rear (cab) molle panels. Also have to notch (not a big deal) the panels to go around clamp.

Mounted a Morrflate TenSix air compressor on a Builtrightind bedside rack MOLLE panel using a slightly modified (two additional drill holes) Viaircorp 95900 mounting bracket. Removed the factory alligator clips and installed an Anderson connector and 100 amp fuse to take advantage of my hitch mount winch power. I also converted the hose mount to a QD for more compact storage. This unit is capable of an actual 10.6 CFM with a four tire inflator and has an integral pressure switch
