I got that, but it seems like they would have just done another warranty claim to Ford to pay for swapping it again.

They said they tried but got denied which I heard after that the pump itself came with a 12000 mile warranty that also covered labor apparently but it was up to theme if they wanted to do it.
They just didn't want to do it.

I bought mine from Rockauto. I've been using them on my Lexus cars with 330k+ miles on the original reservoirs. They are usually good for 50k miles and easy to replace. I believe they have a built in bypass in case the filter itself clogs.

Would you mind sharing which one you are using?

The WIX looks very nice. I like the quality of Wix filters. I went with the A-1 CARDONE 20P038F because I buy from Rockauto often. I see that both are avail on Amazon. The A-1 is compact and easy to fit, although I think we have plenty of space in the Raptor to fit any of these.

I might do this, where can I get one/ part number?

I made sure my hoses had very little bends, I even shortened the return hose a lot.
This was all an excuse for the dealer cause they know they screwed up an didn't want to pay out of their pocket.

My power steering pump was $95 with a $70 core charge that I will get back once I send it in.
I believe I saw a new one on Tasca for the same price but no eta so I looked elsewhere.

Could you tell me where you got the pump from. I'm pretty sure I'm in need of one for my 5.4. It's starting to whine like crazy.

I just noticed my ps was making some noise the other day and just wiggled the little hose coming out of the reservoir(the return line?) and it stopped. So I guess I need to see about shorting up that line as well. But I have a question for anybody that has put in a in-line filter, which way does the filter point, away from the reservoir or towards it?
