I got the "Type 3" bracket.
Haven't mounted it yet but test fitted and think it will be perfect. I'm planning on drilling a hole in the radiator support to mount, and still need to figure out the power steering lines.

I ended up getting type one. It looked like it may fit on an existing bolt. Guess ill find out also lol

Did you guys ever install the reservoir? I've been waiting for my GJ Reservoir kit but have only received the cooler, no reservoir. Thinking about cancelling the reservoir and getting the Chase Bays one.

No I ended up selling it and just installing the cooler.

Not happy with the product or went with a different route? With the Type One mounting brackets, where did you see it going? Any insight is greatly appreciated!

I was trying to put it out front by the headlight like the other ones went but no luck with the type one. I ordered a different bracket I believe t3 (not sure) that one seemed like it would work for what i wanted. The item was nicely made. A bit smaller than i thought id be. Im going to hold off and get the howe or lee when i have to get a new pump. Unless i find one with a bottom filter that is made for the location already. (Gj, sdhq style)

I have both brackets still since the guy only wanted the res.

I ordered the GJ almost 3 months ago, only received the cooler. From the sounds of it, I could be waiting 6+ months for the reservoir. I've been looking for an alternative. I don't do anything crazy, and the stock pump has lasted 85k miles, so I think Howe or Lee is overkill.

I saw the SDHQ but I don't like how it's not mounted up front and doesn't have a replacement filter.

Yeah i dont do much either. But im at 196k and idk when/if the pumps been done. Only reason to get howe/lee. Ah didnt read the sdhq one. I may have to dig more for something.

I'd talk to them because I see the reservoir as in stock and the cooler is out of stock.

There is also an identical reservoir floating around too, probably made in the exact same factory, just no mounting brackets supplied with it.

That's the thing with GJ, numerous phone calls and emails with no response. I told myself I will give them till the end of the month before I cancel it.

I'm honestly shocked because I never had an issue with them.

I definitely commiserate with you though!
