Something to keep an eye on...

During the Raptor Run, BlackMamba had a power steering hose pop off and sprayed almost all of his power steering fluid out under the hood. That hose is on top of the driver's side of the radiator, where it connects to a metal line. A spring clamp was used (confirmed on both my truck and Mamba's). At some point, a service tech had added a screw-type hose clamp, behind the factory spring clamp, to Mamba's truck (maybe a TSB out there?). I checked mine this morning and saw that it had almost come off. I pushed it back on. I will be replacing the factory spring clamp with a screw type clamp soon.

I would check the seals on the pump as well. Mine sprung a leak they replaced the pump and the hose in question cause it was leaking also.

Mine popped off Saturday middle of the course. What a mess!
That same hose goes to the cooler and guess what, same slip clamp!
Changed the bottom one today.

Lot of issues with power steering is because of the design... it causes the powersteering fluid to become foamy, and causes whine.. Really noticed mine doing it on the Raptor run.. Luckily one of our vendors will be releading a fix for this problem very soon...
