Im thinking about going with that or the B&M version and a filter magnet. Its more than the magnefine throw aways but cheaper than the magnefine performance one and has a bracket. Also takes a spin on filter that I can purchase locally if needed

I don't see why it wouldn't work, the HOWE ,res has a screw on filter, as well as the PSC MOTOR SPORTS, nick was originally gonna use that one, if there's a way to get the flow rate on the two, that definitely would be a plus,

i thought about that one but i just went with the magnefine after seeing J DAMAGE having good luck with it and i also spoke to a few members and they ran the cheap plastic one with good results. i also search alot online and found many people used them so i figured i would just bite the bullet and pay for the heavy duty one

Added the Derale 24" power steering cooler.

Made mounts out of 1" strap steel, had to relocate the horns to the left.

Also added a aFe Transmission pan....My dealer only charged me $75 labor to change the fluid and install the new pan.

The service dept. at Encinitas Ford is top notch! The service manager and most of the techs are racers and they take pride in their work.

I'm sad to say that my cooler mounting straps are already showing rust.

Also, I'm about to order the filter. Does it come with mounting hardware? If not what did you guys use?

I'm going to go with the barbed fittings. But not sure what I need to be compatible with the filter. Looks like I need an AN6 female to hose barb adaptor fitting. I searched summit but didn't see something like that.

An6 was a bitch to get the hoses over. I used aluminum, 1"x.0625" beat it around a 2x4 = golden for they brackets

GREAT LAKES RAPTOR EXCURSIONS

The filter does not come with the black bracket pictured above. I am assuming I am going to have to fab one of those.

Also the Cooler does not come with brackets so, Is there a way you can give me measurements off of yours Joe? I think I am going to have to fab something to use as those brackets.

I will submit a pic when I get home. Also I happened to order and extra filter so I had one on hand when I needed to change.

But the filter had threaded ends. So what adaptor do I need to connect a hose to it? BTW, what size is the PS hose?

These should work.

3 -6AN Straight twist-loc ( RUS-624010) 6.97 each 20.91
1 -6AN 90 twist-loc (RUS-624160) 12.97

I thought the hose was a 3/8". I would back it up with clamps also. I can take a pic of these also when I get home.

Mine are, too. I need to pull them off and repaint.

+1. I need to do this, too.
