GEN 2 Power running boards?

Wheelman76, I too have had the power running boards on my last three trucks (2 Plats and my current KR). I was considering checking into it as well and would like to hear what you find. For instance is it simple a "plug 'n play" to add the OEM power running boards (i.e., are all the electronics already there)? I do like the look and extra protection of the Raptor OEM fixed running boards and will likely live with them and see how they feel for awhile. I must admit though the OEM power running boards drop to just the right height to step right in and out of the truck.

After picking up my truck and using the boards on it I decided not to go for power running boards. My main complaint with other f150's was the boards weren't really that wide, and for someone in and out of their truck many times a day the width to "hit it with a sure foot" was my concern. I love the boards on the raptor, nice and wide and I never have to worry about one getting stuck down like a Fiero headlight (anyone remember those???), I saw one the other day on a platinum and was so happy I never had issues on mine, but I know it was just a matter of time.
