I did. But I did a fairly crappy job. One is already peeling is a spot. But I really only did it to get an idea of how it would black. The black plasti dip doesn't match the wheels exactly either. I'm going to remove and paint to match the rest of the wheel.

Got a quote for $25-$30 per ring locally. Thanks for this thread. You guys would not believe some of the silly answers I got from my local service department about the rings.

Who ended up doing your powder coating? I am in CO too.

I just dropped off my wheels for powdercoating on Friday. Was $135/wheel plus $150 for all 4 rings... just under $700 CAD for everything.
