That's some BS. I'm the same age. Didn't give me any hassle. Did you just walk in or call ahead? I called ahead and had it ready for a test drive. If you just walked in maybe they think you just want a joy ride.

Update: Well guys, the dealer ended up calling me back and offered a test drive this time around. They said the raptor has been sitting on their lot for 5 months and they want to move it. It is a black 2011 Raptor 6.2 with 58,000 miles. It does have the 801A Package with Navigation but it looks like it was rode hard and put away wet. One of the two exhaust pipes had a huge dent in it, the mirrors were missing their reflectors and the underbody had a fair amount of rust. The dealer also used spray paint on the fenderwells to hide some of it :(. I passed on this one but I will be looking for a 2012-2013 Blue Flame Screw with Navi and the graphics package.

The trucks ride quality was much better than I thought it would be and it had great power. The MPG is to be expected but it will be a big change from my current car (2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit - 5.7 L Hemi). I did like the fact that it stood out while I was driving it through town and it will be more than capable at Silver Lake next summer.

I'll keep you guys posted.

I would of went down and test drove it and just got out and only tell the salesman, thanks for the test drive but because you guys were being jerks to allow me just to do this, I am not even going to consider buying from you for matter of principal. Say I will get a raptor just not here. Then just walk away immediately turning your back.
