I just browsed through all 128 pages here and there are some really cool wheels in here. Seen lots of great bumpers as well I'm going to be getting a '17 Raptor and I want to get the Fuel Beast 17"x9" wheels. I have some questions about offset.
I will keep the stock 35" KO2's but eventually will I probably want to go with 37" tires on the Fuel 17"x9" wheels. These wheels come in offsets of +20 +1 or -12.
I prefer the look of the -12 over the +20 since it has a more deep look, but I don't want problems later when I upgrade to the 37" tires. I think I read in here less problems with rubbing with higher offset, is that correct?
Can I go with the -12 or will I need spacers for that. It kind of says they are for lifted trucks. Any advice?
I realize nobody really has info on the '17 Raptor yet it seems like you guys with the Gen 1 have to do some modding to get the 37" tires to work.
Thank You
In my picture about yours, I have 37's on there. I didn't trim any thing. I put of some progressive springs and went to mid perch to fit 37x12.50x20. There's a TINY bit of rubbing when I go full lock on left turns but not on the other side. To be safe I'll probably just trim a little bit of each side but i really don't have to.
