I just ordered my truck from McClary Ford in Alabama. I seen the 2 page confirmation report on the order. Thomas sold it to me for Invoice. Very easy to deal with.His number is 256-232-4242. Good luck guys.

Ya you and Zane keep saying that but no one is showing us proof that the order has been picked up by Ford.

Hopefully you didn't give them money yet....

Im not sure what other kind of proof you want. Is there some number on the order confirmation report your looking for?

What color you end up going with? I'm curious as to what Lightning Blue looks like. I love my Blue Flame Metallic. Does it have metallic something to it, anyone?

Ford usually send back a page to the dealer approving the order. As far as I have heard, and others here had confirmed, orders are not going through. You can build them and hold them but Ford isn't picking them up. Zane is calling my dealer "incompetent" but when I sent him a cop of what Zane has he said that's not a submitted order, it's just a build sheet. I need something for him to show his Ford rep so they know what's going on. The Ford reps are clueless as to any of this Raptor stuff so if I can give them this info that would be really helpful to me and anyone that's in this boat

I went with Avalanche Gray. I feel like it will hide scratches the best.

That's the same thing Zane posted. It's just a build sheet. If you look in the bottom left it says "Press F4 to submit". That means it hasn't been submitted yet. They are building and storing these orders until the order banks open in Aug. So you pay them $1000 without the order being approved or accepted from Ford. Do what you want, it's your money but I don't typically like to give people money without guarantees.

What bstoner59 is talking about is you should be getting a DORA (Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement). IIRC, it might take some time to get from Ford but that's how you know Ford has accepted the order.

Im pretty sure those f key short cuts will reappear after it was submitted.

As far as DORA acknowledgement, no I do not have any paperwork with that on it. Honestly the dealer is not worried so neither am I. Everything is documented. Guess we will wait and see.
