either lockpick, or nav tv. they both have video inputs. i think some features from lockpick are accessed from the steering wheel controls (not sure though, just heard) but the nav tv might be easier to access.
now that i have my truck (a 13) i will soon be disassembling my radio to see if there is some way to do it without having to use expensive aftermarket parts.

It usually get a signal from the vehicles PCM via a bus, possible PT-Can or possible a direct wire from the shifter.

Some Nav units out there are wired with the emergency brake, so you would need to be parked and e brake on. I know my Pioneer is that way, but you can also hear a relay kick in at about 2 mph, but my Pioneer is hack, so it by passes the e brake and speed sensor. Even with all the hack, it still forces a accept screen. I too would be interested in less $$ method, go get um Busa!!!

so here is the problem. the mft in the 13 is different from the other years. so if i were to find a way to unlock the unit, it would only be for the mft models. also, the sync and mft dont use a simple ground to lock the system. it has to do with the internal gyros and nav antenna. i know that with the nav tv unit, your nav tracking is not fully functional when you are accessing the features.

no idea yet. i had SVTCALI's truck in my shop, but that was for the fiberglass box. i didnt have time to dive into the radio. maybe one of these days i can get a 10,11,and/or 12 in my shop for a couple of weeks so i can experimitate....... i will be tearing into mine probably beginning of next year for the complete audio overhaul. hopefully i can find a way to bypass it.

I have lockpick- and I can watch videos driving from the DVD player...use it for the kiddos driving. BUT, it SUCKS at night cuz you cannot lower the brightness enough to not make it a REAL hazard.

From the iphone? I was unaware that was even possible, but will try it today when I get in the truck next.
