Afternoon all,

So my first search for Gen 1’s here in Ottawa:

1. $15kCAN, 2010, 270k km, 5.4 V8 in red, SCAB. Looks stick .

2. $35kCAN, 2013, 230k I’m, 6.2 V8, in new paint, 1.5 inch lift and new shocks, brakes and air filter.

Questions:

Should I avoid the 5.4? It looks like I need to spend some effort on her, not an issue.

The 6.2 looks awesome, but is modified, which normally puts me off. But these mods look good and suspension and brakes are more maintenance.

Thoughts team?

Id wait until the right one pops up. Might be helpful posting the exchange rate so we can better relate the value.

Thank god for that, neither do I !

I was looking ATG $60k CAD max, although I am tempted by a 2010 $16k Gen 1 5.4 beater as a “project”…

Beater and raptor???? Don't really go together in my mind. Reg F150 I get beater. The Raptor Tax is real sometimes things are Dubble+. This is the reason beater and raptor don't go together for me. With that said a ( @TomDirt ) Tom Dirt truck makes sense BUT you will need something else to drive. LOL

I wouldn't recommend the 5.4, get the 6.2. there's a reason they stopped making that engine. If you're still in the market, I'm selling mine
