I’m in the same boat but it was too fu€king cold to do the oil change before our trip. I’m at 21% and have about 600 miles before I hit 5k OCI.

Blackstone said I could do 6200ish miles on Amsoil SS. I always go by mileage.

I was actually thinking of dropping a gallon out of the truck (I got a Fumoto) and just refilling without changing the filter. Do a full oil change when we get home. That’s my ocd.
Do you usually DIY oil changes? Are you in Nashville this week? I have the solution Gumby's Garage. LOL come on I ain't scared!!!!!

I love that area, I spent a few years in Newport and it was so pretty. Next time I take a road trip that direction I’ll schedule a stop at Gumby’s garage!
All are welcome.well maybe not @Oldfart. The neighbor up the street has a herd of goats. LOL

If it were me id change it. Ecoboost engines are hard on oil. Some of my other NA motors - the oil looks almost new at 3000 miles. Not the eco. It would also give you a chance to look at components and check coolant, batt voltage etc for anything out of the ordinary prior to departure.
