This could also be your sway bar end links, I would replace them first and see if the problem goes away.

edit: you could disconnect them and test drive it as well. But then may as well replace after they are half off.
I don’t think the sway bar link have anything to do with this noise. If I’m in 2H the noise never happens. It only happens in 4A.

IWE problem? Might the vacuum valve be bad or the hub on that wheel?

@FordTechOne Can you suggest a course of simple diagnosis before he needs a dealer trip?

4A is my go to on wet pavement! Traction is not a worry and 2H is somewhat dangerous on wet pavement if you have to put your foot into it, just for passing power alone. Have broke out the rear on several occasions and at highway speeds attempting to pass and it’s somewhat of a scare no doubt. Wear is traction control when needed.

You couldn't handle a v8 and it sounds like you can't handle a v6 either, ha ha. Just curious are you levelled out or still the factory stance?

Well the truck is far from 10sec. I run lower rear pressure too. C’mon man you think I just got this truck lol
Maybe a tennis ball under the gas pedal then, lol, jeeesh, most people complain that the traction control stays on too much and here you are wishing for more nannies, maybe get that Blue cruise to work in your truck next. :boobs:

It just ain’t fun at highway speeds when the road is wet and you get on it to get over a lane and the rear busts loose. Again sometimes you forget to put it in 4A and that’s the nasty reminder you get.

Here is another vid for the pop sound when using 4A. I was holding my phone with the mic pointed at the firewall. This is for sound only. Truck was making a right turn you can hear the pop then my door lock engages from vehicle speed. The pop sound doesn’t happen when using 2H.
