the flag requirements are as follows... (this is summed up)

1) ANY vehicle operating in the dunes (inside the area marked by orange cones) all ohv's must have a flag at all times regardless of location
2) the flag must be 6x12 inches (trangle ok) orange or red and must stand a minimum of 8 ft from ground level. must also stand upright when vehicle is stopped.

where the flag is located i dont think matters. as long as it is secure. i did not see anything regarding placement. from prior experience, i have had no issues regarding this.
its pretty staright foreward. but if you guys have any questions let me know.

as far as the flag, i just shove the fiber pole in the tailgate latch on the rubber stopper and holds it fine...no need to buy any adapter
