Can a current Raptor owner please chime in as to what would be involved in removing/changing out the colored door panel inserts. Is this something that would be best left to a professional upolstry shop? The dash panels would be easy enough to swap, my concern is the door panels.

there were a set of black HD dash inserts for all those parts on ebay last week for around $300. Could easily sell the blue ones to a regular f150 owner or another raptor owner and recoop nearly all the costs.

Even door panels if that part doesn't pop off individually easily, it'd still paint easily, or again swap full door panels with a local f150 guy with regular black inserts.

It'll look 100x's better in an actual photo. Heck its almost the same way people photoshopped the orange interior to blue and guys said they liked that, with the cheesy cheap looking full center inserts rather the much more subtle blue stitched seats. But its the same old story, I see it every year on the HD forums, all the guys absolutely HATE the new year changes for the most part, but the year they own is the best one ever lol.

I'm still half tempted to go buy FX4 trim pieces to replace to the Raptor-specific ones...like their black "dot matrix" look a lot better than the silver.

You guys crack me up. I would trade the orange interior in two seconds but, everyone I see say the same thing. That they love it and it defines the truck as a Raptor. Just like the digital mud graphics, feel it needs to go but the same comments for the graphics. Still wish I had the black......
