Picked up my 13' today.. but red oil leaking..

You should ask. Other guys who have had issues immediately after delivery have received extended warranty free of charge when they asked.

If I ask.. they are going to give me a price..Lol

Called Ford Corp. very nice lady walked me thru.. got case number and manager would be calling me in 2 days..

My dealer told me it was some kind a ring inside that needs to be replaced.. and needs to take out the transmission.. So have to drive a rental for couple days..

Waited almost 5`6 months.. guess Ill wait a little more...Cant wait to get her back!

Shit fire! Take you trans out? You def should ASK for extended warranty as it seems your trans is defective and leaking. My concern is how long has it been leaking? And also, the yahoos at the dealership, have they ever encountered this before and do they know how to fix it.

50K truck with a leaking trans >> If Ford says it's no issue then the warranty will cost them nothing. If you don't get extra warranty and the trans poops out 36 months from now, then it will DEF cost you something.

Is there a "buyer remorse" or similar law in your state allowing for cancellation of sale within XX number of days? If so, you should take advantage of it and walk away.

Def go with the warranty or tell them you want a different one. That's not something that should be happening and since it did I would not personally feel right receiving a truck with a "fixed" transmission.

Im not going to give Hell to my dealer.. cuz all they did was order.. and sell.. if they did service and something got fuked up.. Then yeah.. Ill bring HELL..

I just found out my buddy had a leak in his 11'.. not same.. but some where around the end of the shaft or something.. He called ford and they offer him a extended warranty.. but he declined.. so they bought the truck back..

That would be the worst case for me... but for now.. I cant wait to get my TRUCK BACK!

I would dog the **** out of the FX4! I have heard there is a good safe jump somewhere in Texas that F-150's love! Hey it has the same frame right?
